Hey, everybody!

I haven’t done a favorites post in a while, so I wanted to share with you what I’ve been loving this month. I’ll definitely try to do them more often! Let me know if you try any of these products.

I’m going to start out with an app that I’ve been using a lot lately: Google Photos. I love this app because it automatically backs up all of your pictures, and it’s connected with your google account so you can access them anywhere on any account. It literally saved my life when I dropped my phone in water last week because I  still had everything. It also does some really cool things, like share with you what pictures you took on that day a year ago (or longer based on how long you’ve had the app) as well as creates animations of your pictures so that they look like they’re moving, and they post to Instagram as a video. I definitely recommend it, especially if you have a phone that uses Google and not Apple.

My second item is the winter coat that I bought this year. I got it from Macy’s on Black Friday I believe, so it wasn’t too expensive. The brand is Vince Camuto. It’s really warm, and I love that it goes all the way down to my knees. It’s my favorite color, so it matches 90% of the outfits that I wear. It’s big enough to wear sweaters or sweatshirts underneath. The hood is nice and big so that I’m all covered up, and I love the fur around it as well (faux). It’s perfect for those cold and snowy days walking around campus, and it just really goes well with my style.

Dry clean is my next favorite. It’s a makeup brush cleaner. Having clean brushes is really important. Your brushes feel a lot better, it keeps you from breaking out, and it keeps your makeup from mixing together. The annoying thing about washing your brushes is that it’s time consuming and it takes them a while to dry out once you wet them. Dry clean is so easy because all you have to do is spray your brush and wipe it off on a paper towel, and it’s clean. You don’t have to wet your brush at all, which I think is really nice, and it only takes a few seconds. This product is available and Sephora. It’s definitely a must-have

The next product I wanted to mention is Simple. I’ve been using Simple Facial Wash and Simple Cleansing wipes. The wipes make it really easy to  take off my makeup at night. The facial wash has been really great, it makes my skin really soft and my skin has been a lot healthier since I started using it. If you wear makeup, have dry skin, or break out sometimes, I would recommend trying this brand.

For music, I’ve been listening to a lot of Bruno Mars lately. I love the sound of his new album, it brings back an older vibe that incorporates a lot of instruments and a funk r&b sound. I love the way that he’s been experimenting with his sound, going from ballads to more upbeat music. This music makes you feel good, and you automatically want to get up and have a good time. He also has such a great voice for this style of music.
